A common question for newer players is: "What other ways are there for me to earn silver/gold?" so here I shall list all the possibles ways.
Silver
Counting house- Of course the first place you will start earning silver in in your Counting House building. You will want to upgrade this as much as possible and as quick as possible. Make sure you are collecting it regularly so that it doesn't get filled and stop generating coin.
Quests- For every quest you complete you will get a small amount of silver as a reward
Alliance Challenges- Take part in an alliance challenge and you will get a small amount of silver as well as the participation reward and a small chance of a rare reward
Adventures- The adventure party is an excellent way to build up silver, especially if you have many CP and can send large parties at a time. The higher the level adventures your ss complete the more silver you bring in (Note: if you are sending your ss on a high level adventure and finding that they mostly lose then you will probably earn more silver by attempting a lower level adventure that you have more success in)
Player to player (ptp) attacks- This is another good way to earn silver although more time consuming than adventure parties. Send barters to a friend or ally and you will both gain silver. Or try to stealing/swindling an enemy and taking their hand earned cash. Get familiar with what each actions effects are on both yourself and the player who you send two. Ptp actions have different effects than the same actions in AvA. You can also ask other players to send barters to you and you will earn silver from ding nothing. If you have a ss trained in trade or barter and you have some trade/barter gear to put on him then set him as a defender for barter and you will win more of the other players actions and receive a larger share of silver.
Tales- You can earn silver from the personal rewards in Tales when you achieve enough renown.
Sell stuff- Any items that you don't want/need you can sell in the shop for silver
Gold
Weekly gold- Log in to the game for seven days in a row and you will get 5 gold for free.
Tales- Take part in tales and you can earn gold by ranking high enough overall. You can also earn gold from the personal rewards for earning enough renown. The first 5 gold you get from just 600 renown which should be easy for every player to achieve if you play it smart, even if you are very weak. It is worth playing tales even if it is just for this easy 5 gold.
AvA- Alliances can now earn gold from winning first place in a region in AvA.
Money- You can of course use real money to pay for gold. DB gives all players the chance to get double gold on your first 20 dollar purchase (but not if you go for a 20 dollar weekly deal that comes with items)
